As the last weeks of summer vacation come to an end, I anticipate meeting my new FABULOUS fifth graders! Getting to start a new year for the first time is such an exciting but nervous experience!

I have been preparing my classroom for this year and as I sit here and write this I realize all that I am missing are my FABULOUS fifth graders!! Remember that next Thursday, August 22 at 4:30 to 5:30 is meet the teacher night. We (the fifth grade team) CAN”T wait to meet you all!

Improper Fractions with Mr. Duey!! We had a great time learning this song but also use it everyday to remind us how to change improper fractions to mixed numbers!!

Taking this half day to continue my education! Loving learning about E-Portfolios and hoping to use it more often in class with my 5th graders!
